About Sharon

Sharon directs the firm’s auditing and accounting practice and coordinates the firm’s quality control program. She implements policies and procedures on technical accounting and auditing matters, and establishes standards of training proficiency.
Sharon is responsible for the audits of closely held businesses, distributors, manufacturers, services and not-for-profit engagements with revenues ranging from $2 million to $1 billion. She has a strong background in complex areas of accounting, such as fund accounting, business combinations, ESOP accounting, LIFO inventory, goodwill and fixed asset impairment analysis, and consolidations of foreign subsidiaries.
She is a hands-on technical auditor who effectively executes an engagement from planning through final reporting. She is responsible for audit, review, compilation and other accounting and tax engagements and is qualified to perform not-for-profit Uniform Guidance “Yellow Book” audits, as well as employee benefit plan audits. Sharon joined the firm in 1984.
