Experience
Bonnie joined Piccerelli, Gilstein & Company, LLP in 1999 and has over fifteen years experience working with closely held businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to entering the public accounting profession, Bonnie spent ten years working in the banking industry.

Bonnie is responsible for audit, review, compilation and other accounting and tax engagements for a wide range of clients. She is a seasoned, hands-on technical auditor who effectively executes an engagement from planning through final reporting. Bonnie is responsible for audits of not-for-profit organizations, including those performed in accordance with OMB Circular A-133, as well as privately held companies with gross revenue ranging from $2 million to $2 billion. In addition to her client responsibilities, Bonnie maintains a leadership role in the Firm’s Auditing and Accounting Department and assists with coordinating the Firm’s quality control program. In this capacity, she implements policies and procedures on technical accounting and auditing matters and establishes standards of training proficiency. She has a strong background in complex areas of accounting and auditing such as internal controls and compliance testing and has provided services to a wide variety of clients.

Bonnie frequently develops and presents in-house technical training for staff. She is qualified to perform audits of federal programs in accordance with the guidelines established by the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center.
